Braves World Series parade: Tickets for celebration inside Truist Park sold out

COBB COUNTY, Ga. — In case you haven’t heard, there’s a party going on Friday across metro Atlanta. No, it wasn’t a dream: the Atlanta Braves are World Series champions and they want you to celebrate with them.

The Braves will host a World Series parade in Atlanta and Cobb County. The parade will run from Peachtree and Marietta streets, up Peachtree to 10th Street and then onto the interstate. From there, they will head to Cobb County, drive up Cobb Parkway and end at the Battery.

Fans are encouraged to line the streets of downtown Atlanta and Cobb Parkway.

After the parade, a party will be held inside Truist Park at 3:30 p.m. followed by a concert with Ludacris and Big Boi. Tickets are free, however fans had to reserve them in advance.

Reservations for inside the stadium were made available Thursday morning on the Braves website and have already sold out.

The Braves also have parking passes available to purchase for $10. Parking is only available for pre-purchase in the lots east of the stadium.

The parking lot opening times have not been released yet, but the gates at Truist Park will open at 12 p.m. Fans can enter through the left field and third base gates.

Cobb County officials warned that roads in the area will be blocked off beginning at 10 a.m.

Several roads in Atlanta will also be blocked off as officials prepare for the parade

Fans can also watch from the Battery but there will be a capacity limit. Those without tickets will be let in on a first come first served basis.
