: Remembering and missing Jeff Beck (2010)

I was absolutely THRILLED to talk to one of my favorite musicians Jeff Beck May 18, 2010, before his concert at Chastain. The depth of his contribution to rock and popular music is unmatched! We talk of his work with American idol contestants, his induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame by his childhood friend Jimmy Page, and Jeff’s induction of his dear friend Les Paul. One of my favorite parts of this conversation is when we discuss his work on Stevie Wonder’s version of “Superstition”! Jeff Beck would have been 80 on June 24. Sadly, we lost him January 10, 2023. xo

Carlos Santana talks about his career, family, and touring at age 77 (2024)

I spoke with Carlos Santana about the documentary of his life, “Carlos” (which came out late last year), his career, family, band, and about him going back out on tour at age 77. Santana plays Gas South Arena June 18th with Counting Crows.

Ann Wilson of Heart opens up about music, family and more (2012)

I’ve interviewed Ann and Nancy Wilson several times – they are both thoughtful and soft-spoken. Ann, in particular, is a very shy interview. I find the hardest thing about doing phone interviews is that you can’t see who you’re talking to and you don’t want to talk over them until they’ve finished their thought. You need to keep it moving in radio, so it was hard to learn to let the silences (pauses) breathe in live interviews! You’ll probably notice it in this interview from September 19, 2012, just as Ann and Nancy’s autobiography “Kicking and Dreaming” was released.

She took over 97.1 The River’s Morning Drive helm in 2008, and in 2013 she celebrated her 30th year in Atlanta radio by getting inducted into the Georgia Radio Hall of Fame. Back in her favorite spot on Afternoon Drive since 2018, Kaedy celebrates 40 YEARS IN ATLANTA RADIO this year!

Kaedy has had the pleasure of interviewing  Rock legends like Paul McCartney, Jon Bon Jovi, Robert Plant, The Who’s Pete Townshend, and so many more. She created her RockRiddles to entertain her listeners and honor her favorite artists. Her love of music, and especially Rock and Roll, comes from being the only girl with 4 brothers who are musicians and who love to rock!

An animal lover, Kaedy devotes much of her free time as a board member of Furkids Animal Rescue and Sanctuary, the largest No-Kill shelter in the southeastern United States. As a breast cancer survivor, she also serves on the board of The Eric R.
