Talk about a story! This handsome, vibrant senior has quite a tale. (And a tail!) Rusty came to Furkids last December, as a long-time stray, in pretty rough shape. The weathered nine-year-old was a mere 7 pounds and had a host of health issues. But Mr. Rust shook off the dust! And thanks to his innate will-to-live and the skill of the Furkids Medical Team, he is now a happy, healthy 12-pounder and ready to rock n’ roll into his own furever home.

Rusty has had a tough ride after years on the road. For that reason, it would be fitting for him to live out his years (he may have many!) in a calm and quiet environment where he can be given the gilded treatment for his golden years. Through extensive testing, Rusty has been diagnosed with diabetes and will require a special diet and insulin—both of which Furkids provides. Aside from that, he is a chill, charming, love bug who only needs a place to call his own.
