Kaedy spoke with founder and Executive Director of Furkids, Samantha Shelton about the 10 year anniversary of her Furkids non-profit -- a cage-free, no-kill shelter for rescued dogs and cats.

Sam will be honored Saturday night at The Cobb Energy Centre at a gala open to the public, and hosted by renowned radio personality Rick Dees, to benefit Furkids.

Kaedy's friend James Dean who has a new children’s book coming out this week and is also going to be at the Furkids gala Saturday night. He is donating two of his original pieces of art for auction there.  He’s also donated the artwork for all of Furkids 10 year anniversary merchandise this year.
