On November 21, we partnered with the Atlanta Community Food Bank for our 2nd Annual The River Stomps Out Hunger Food Drive, to collect food and monetary donations to supply holiday meals for local families in need… and you made a huge difference in the lives of so many!

You donated 2,127 pounds of dry food, 1,325 pounds of frozen turkey and monetary donations that will provide 25,816 meals for hungry children, hardworking families and struggling seniors.

Our community faces one of the highest levels of food insecurity in the nation—meaning that our neighbors often struggle to put food on the table, and that their access to nutritious food is limited by a lack of money and other resources. And the need continues to grow. Due to the impact of COVID-19 projections show that 1 in 7 Georgians struggles with hunger in metro Atlanta and north Georgia.
