Here’s an opportunity that you really won’t want to snooze on. Because we’ve got a precious pup that will positively open your eyes as to what a sweet, loyal companion can be. Meet Sleepy!
Talk about a dream come true! This precious Dachshund/Jack Russell mix is a perfect 29-pound blonde beauty with TONS of personality. Sleepy was once a family’s cherished puppy. But somewhere along the line, her story took a nightmare-of-a-turn. She was recently found abandoned, fending for herself on the streets of Florida. Sleepy was flea-ridden and extremely skinny—she’d obviously been out there for a while. But you’d never know it. She doesn’t have an angry bone in her body. Although speaking of bones, she could certainly could use some well-cooked meals. And a family to feed her, spoil her, cuddle her and allow her to be the happy, carefree dog she was meant to be.
Sleepy is almost seven years old, meaning she’s out of that crazy puppy stage and just a chill, quiet girl. She’s been neutered, microchipped and is up to date on all her preventatives and vaccines. The only prescription she needs is a healing home all her own.
We could talk more about Sleepy, but yawn! It’s the same old story: one about a wonderful, easy-going gal who just needs to find the peeps…and the life... she so deserves.
