When you meet this handsome, jovial guy of ours, there’s something you probably won’t notice about him. You’ll plainly see that he is happy-go-lucky, friendly and just loves life. You’ll see he is confident. Really smart. And totally affectionate. What you won’t see, is that this marvelously well-adjusted pup is blind. But it is no big deal. Because he’s Chuck.
Chuck may be without sight, but he’s not without joy. He is one of the most enthusiastic, engaged and cutest buds in our bunch. A four-year-old Shepherd mix, Mr. C. learns quickly. (Duh! One of the smartest breeds!) He’s already got some directional commands down and is eager to take on more. Chuck’s blindness doesn’t slow him down! He just needs to settle down…in a loving furever home.
And this adorable, resilient guy is ready. Chuck has been neutered, is up to date on all vaccinations and preventatives, and is microchipped. Chuck is also currently heartworm positive, but Furkids is on it and will cover Chuck’s heartworm treatments. But because of that, it’s necessary to keep Chuck locally, so Atlanta adoptions only.
