Flight 386 was diverted to the Albuquerque International Sunport at around 2:20 p.m., shortly after taking off from Los Angeles, WTVF reported.

“I got to stop this plane,” the unidentified male passenger could be heard saying in a video of the incident.

The passenger was not able to get inside the cockpit. The crew and passengers tried to restrain the man. He was taken into custody after the plane landed.

Grace Chalmers, a passenger on the flight, said the man “seemingly unprovoked, just got up and rushed the pilot’s cabin and began banging on the doors,” she told CNN.

The flight was grounded for several hours before continuing to Nashville, WKRN reported.

The FBI confirmed it is investigating the incident.
