ATLANTA — Several Georgia colleges and universities are once again among the top rated Georgia schools, according to the US News Best College Rankings.

Emory University remains the highest ranked school in Georgia, tying with Georgetown University ranking. Georgia Tech ranks as No. 29, sharing that spot with the University of California San-Diego.

The University of Georgia is in a three-way tie with William and Mary and Virginia Tech.

Spelman College tops the list as the No. 1 Historically Black Colleges in Georgia for the 20th year in a row, and Morehouse is ranked fourth in the same category.

The Massachusetts Institute of Technology is ranked as the best college in the country.
