ATLANTA — Atlanta-based Coca-Cola is introducing taller, slimmer cans for some of its newest beverages as studies show younger consumers are drawn to the packaging.

The company recently introduced two new sparkling water products from Topo Chico and Smartwater featuring the redesigned cans.

Studies show younger shoppers associate the taller, narrower packaging with healthier, more sophisticated and upscale beverages.

One of the new products, Topo Chico Colección, sells for approximately $10 for an eight-pack.

Despite the slimmer appearance, the cans contain the same 12 ounces of liquid as traditional soda cans.
