A copy of Jazz News containing the first ad to form The Rolling Stones is going up for auction. Placed by Brian Jones on May 2, 1962, the ad sought musicians to join the band. Another edition includes an editorial about Mick Jagger forming the group and an advert for their first gig. The magazines, from a deceased estate, are expected to fetch over $1,000 at Wessex Auction Rooms on February 27.
