18-year-old Frank Ruggeri of Palm Bay, Florida, said the game should be on a Saturday so that fans can stay up late, and for fans the winning team to have enough time to recover from the excitement, WTVT reported.

In the petition, Ruggeri outlines the benefits for the NFL: “It will get more money and more visitors to the game. NFL will get more television views because most government jobs have Sunday off. It will let more children enjoy their beloved game on TV or at venue.”

Ruggeri explained why the issue is important to him, saying 17.2 million people miss work on the Monday after the game, calculating that adds up to $44 billion in lost productivity, CBS Sports reported.

Ruggeri said he started the petition two years ago but is refusing to give up hope, WTVT reported.

Over the two-year span, the petition collected more than 126,900 signatures. Visit Change.org to see the current count of supporters.

Super Bowl LVI is scheduled to take place at SoFi Stadium in California on Feb. 13.
