Coronavirus: 112-year-old mother, 92-year-old son vaccinated together

WAVERLY, Iowa — A supercentenarian mother and her nonagenarian son were inoculated together against the coronavirus at an Iowa clinic.

UnityPoint Health said Esther Wittenburg, 112, and Virgil Bock, 92, were excited to get their vaccines on Wednesday, KCRG reported.

Wittenburg said her key to longevity is real potatoes and gravy, KWWL reported.
