Families who listen to music together form better bonds and are less likely to argue

For centuries, music has always played a role in the human being’s lifestyle in various forms. Music has always been a way to vocalize emotion and build tight-knit relationships globally. Known as a universal symbol, music holds a plethora of aspects that can form deep connections whether a person is vocalizing or simply listening.

According to research, families who listen to music together, form better bonds and are less likely to argue, In a study, 2,000 adults found 42 percent think they are closer to their loved ones due to a shared love of music, while 32 percent even believe it reduces the disagreements they have.

And it’s not even music that’s been passed down for generations that are causing family bonds. 80 percent of parents mention that their children have introduced them to new music via YouTube, Pandora and TikTok.
