Fabulous New Midtown Brunch/Lunch Spot!

By Kaedy Kiely

A favorite new spot I “discovered” over the holidays is open only during late brunch or lunch Monday – Sunday, or for private affairs, and is a beautiful , white room with delightful food and terrific service! Olmsted, named for Frederick Law Olmsted, “the father of landscape design,” who influenced the layouts of some of Atlanta’s gorgeous old neighborhoods, is located at 14th and Peachtree just above Article 14 (the cool restaurant I blogged about a couple of months ago.)  I brought the whole family there over the holidays, and everyone ordered an array of food and raved about every bite. From perfectly cooked eggs, to the creamy lobster bisque, to the huge, juicy angus burger and chopped salad with gilled asparagus, the food was just delicious and reasonably priced.  And do NOT leave Olmsted without trying their bacon -- you're going to have to just trust me on this one! Do yourself a favor and check them out when you’re looking for a relaxed, fine lunch spot in midtown.    For more, visit www.olmstedatl.com .
