It started at lunchtime yesterday.  My brother Leo, who's lived in Denver for years, called to wager with me on the Falcons/Broncos game last night. He makes a lot more money than I do so we agreed on a price that would hurt me a lot more than it would hurt him, but I never bet against my Falcons. The taunting ensued just before gametime via text:

KK: "Damn, you have my favorite ex-Falcon, Keith Brooking, on your team now.  Now I'm worried...NOT!

LK: "Shaking in your boots...YEA!

Falcons score immediately.

LK: "Wow"

KK: "Woo Hoo"  (smiley face with tongue sticking out attached)

LK: "Want to double the bet?"

Falcons score again

KK: "Is the offer still good?" (smiley face with sunglasses on attached)

LK: "We're on!"

KK:"You sure? Doesn't seem like such a fair bet." (smiley face with dollar signs in its eyes attached)

LK: "Oh, pity now?"

KK: "It'll be pity when we score in a minute."

LK: "Wow, what a quarter. These refs are in big trouble."

KK: "I know, I can't believe how long this is taking -- whup, first down Falcons. Refs need to get it together! We could have scored another four touchdowns already..."

LK: "Clearly should have. Ok...$ in the mail..."

KK: "LOL! Don't you want to bet on whether or not you'll score before halftime?!" (smiley face with tongue sticking out attaced again)

LK: "You kidding? I'm watching reruns of Modern Family!"

YAY Falcons!!!
