I didn't think "The Voice" came together too well last season, but I really enjoyed the season that just finished though I was  surprised about the guy who won it  -- he didn't stand out to me much at all.  One guy who did stand out to many fans of the show is a young guy from Kennesaw who made it far in the competition, and he's known simply as Pip.  Check out this article from The Kennesaw Patch:

An Evening with Pip

Kennesaw's rising star will give a limited seating performance this Sunday at Smith-Gilbert Gardens.

The Voice contestant and Kennesaw Mountain High School graduate Phillip “Pip” Arnold will give a limited seating live acoustic performance at Smith-Gilbert Gardens this Sunday, June 3, from 6 to 9 p.m.

The event, An Evening with Pip, will be an intimate concert under the trees. Tickets cost $50 per person, and seating is limited to 200. Wine, beer, sodas and hors d'oeuvres will be provided.

As a contestant in the nationally televised singing competition, Pip placed in the Top 12. However, he did not finish high enough to guarantee a recording contract.

The Smith-Gilbert Gardens performance will help raise funds for Pip's Kickstarter Campaign to help fund his debut album.

The gardens are located at 2382 Pine Mountain Rd. in Kennesaw. Tickets must be purchased in advance, and sales will close May 31. There is no admission on the day of the event. You can purchase tickets online here.
