Phillip Phillips from Leesburg, GA, a tiny town of 2900 near Albany, has won American Idol -- nice! I don't think there was a dry eye in the house when he was so overcome with emotion that he couldn't finish his song after he was announced the winner. It's reported that he will undergo kidney surgery after he takes care of some press obligations for American Idol. I know plenty of people weren't happy with the outcome of this year's Idol but I, with a bazillion others, was! P.S. How weird was that Ace/Diana proposal -- and Fantasia's outfit??? NOT good, lol!
