See A Couple of Hometown Favorites This Weekend! By Kaedy Kiely
Tonight at 7:15, the father of the jam band, Colonel Bruce Hampton, is being honored at The Atlanta Film Festival at the wonderful Plaza Theater on Ponce with a showing of the movie, "Basically Frightened: The Musical Madness of Colonel Bruce Hampton." Tickets are only $10, and my fellow ChattyHoochie, Reece, will be on hand to introduce the movie!
Another old buddy of mine, Dan Baird (formerly with The Georgia Satellites,) is in town Saturday night at 8 as Dan Baird & Homemade Sin at Smith's Olde Bar . Dan's been based in Nashville for a while, and it's always a great time to see him live in his hometown!
Kaedy Kiely has been playing some of the classics since they were new, and you can hear her every day on 97.
