This is worth setting your DVR for!  My buddy Hans will be featured on The Doctors this morning at 10am on WSB TV, Channel 2. Hans is an amazing chef. His family has owned the Woodbridge Inn in Jasper, GA since the '70s, and  Hans' unusual life is helping make him an unintentional national treasure.  It started with his stint on the debut season of "The Next Food Network Star."  Hans was a contestant who came in 3rd place. Although he didn't win, he was voted "Fan Favorite," which says a  lot about him.  Within weeks of the show's wrapping, Hans was diagnosed with stomach cancer.  In the years since, his bouts with the incidious disease and the havoc it and its treatments wreak on one's body is an incredible story of a family's strength, determination, and courage.  Ultimately, Hans has had a complete gastrectomy yet is still a chef cooking and teaching others to make their own wonderful, healthy food at Piedmont Hospital's Cancer Wellness Center.  Hans is still in quite a bit of pain.  Tomorrow he heads back to MD Anderson in TX for a big check-up.  Please say a prayer for him!  And see him for yourself this morning so you can see why he is certainly a GEORGIA treasure!
