I had friends over last night to watch American Idol, and we all agreed that the talent we were seeing out of Savannah was some of the best we've ever seen.  Based on who was on last night, it'll be a great season!  I thought the two 15-year-old girls were amazing.  The lady that lives in a tent in the woods with her boyfriend was good -- I think her personality will be annoying and don't thnk she'll make it very far, but I was happy to see someone with so much hope get to
"go to Hollywood!"  And how about the last guy we saw?  20 years old from a tiny town in south Georgia -- the guy was absolutely phenominal -- an old soul who was simply born to perform.  And the way he plays guitar?!  He's a handsome guy, too?  And his name is Phillip Phillips -- how can we forget him?  I'm not sure how else we'd ever see him were it not for a show like American Idol, and that's why I love the show.  Well that, and Steven Tyler being a judge.  We laughed and laughed at his expressions -- he is priceless!  How about his smile when one girl said she is a volleyball player?  He looked like the evil Grinch when the Christmas character smiles devilishly.   Tyler's a real, live, talented Rock Star with a huge heart -- that combination is just captivating.  See more tonight on Fox!
