And we're off!  2012 will be a big year for the biggest rockers.  The Stones will be celebrating their 50th anniversary with who-knows-what, but it'll be huge!  Aerosmith are back on the same page and will have new music out soon with a tour surely to follow -- while we wait, we can get more of  Steven Tyler American Idol-style in just days.  And this morning Van Halen has announced the first leg of their 2012 tour.  Their new CD, "A Different Kind of Truth," will be out Feb. 7th.  Their last tour a few years ago with David Lee Roth wasn't in support of new music, so it'll be interesting to hear what they've come up with together again. 

The tour hits Atlanta's Philips Arena on April 19th, and tickets go on sale January 10th at 10am through Ticketmaster.  Personally, I hope they learned from their mistakes with the last tour they did together at Philips.  Although some moments were memorable, most of the show was marred by ridiculous technical difficulties and either age or sloppiness.  And jeez, would they get over whatever it is that keeps them from touring with Michael Anthony?!  That guy's harmonies and playing are something  Wolfie's can't come close to --EVER!  Oh well, a girl can't have everything.  I, for one, will still be there to welcome them back together, hoping to bring back a little of the way we all looked and felt in 1984!!
