Woo Hoo! Trixie Found a Home! By Kaedy Kiely
I was thrilled to learn last night that Trixie, the gorgeous Maine Coon mix who loves belly rubs and whose story touched my heart, found a home Sunday! I know several people said they passed info around about her after reading my blog a couple of weeks ago -- who knows? The home may have come as a direct result of your work -- thank you! Atlanta Pet Rescue and Adoption had an open house this past weekend to show supporters their nice, new location. I missed it because I showed up a day early (thinking it was Saturday, not Sunday.) I just want you to be assured that they are a terrific place to support through either donation or adoption, and APR&A is a volunteer-based, non-profit, NO-KILL animal shelter. If you go Atlanta Pet Rescue's website and look up Trixie, you can see her big, beautiful, self in the arms of her new owner!
