I talked with drummer Phil Ehart last week about the Kansas show tomorrow night (Friday) at The Cobb Energy Center.  It's fascinating to hear how the band came up with the idea to use university students and their orchestras to back Kansas on several dates.  Kennesaw State University's symphony orchestra will be rockin' onstage with them tomorrow night -- over 70 kids strong!  Imagine what that's going to sound like!  You don't even have to imagine, just get your tickets to be there at one of my favorite venues.  You can hear my interview with Phil here on our website, too.
Omigosh, Saturday is supposed to be PERFECT fall weather -- sunny, breezy with a high near 70.  I can't wait for our annual Rock 'n Rib Fest in downtown Lawrenceville!  The event's from 1 - 9p with music starting at 2.  Check here on our website for the full schedule, and try not to miss my new friends, Red Zeppelin, who are playing from 7-9.  They are fantastic!!  I hope to see you there!
