I know times are tight.  I hate asking people to fork out money for something they may know nothing about, especially because there are so many worthy causes near and dear to each one of our's hearts.  But I have to ask for something I believe makes a huge difference in heroes' lives that effect all of us. 

If you've seen a concert at Chastain Park, there's no doubt you've noticed the pristeen horse park there.  It wasn't always a beautiful spot.  It had become a dilapidated, unsafe place to board horses a few years ago.  My dear friend Amy Lance got hold of the property and not only turned it into a wonderful place for folks to board their horses but, more importantly, a healing place for children and wounded soldiers to find relief.  The therapeutic riding programs at Chastain are simply incredible.  I could go on and on about the goose-bumpy, heart-warming stories that come out of Chastain, but you can see for yourself at www.chastainhorsepark.org.  I am very concerned that the Horses For Heroes Program is threatened due to lack of funds.  Please trust me when I say that Amy needs your help to keep this vital program running for our brave men and women who have been injured, and your $10, $20, ANY dollar donation would go to great use.  And with this weekend being our Memorial Day weekend, your donation to Chastain is even more meaningful.  Chastain's goal is $20,000 on Memorial Day.  So please, donate what you can.  It's easy.  Just go to www.chastainhorsepark.org, or text the word "horseshoe" to 90210.  I just did.
