I'm really thrilled to be part of an exciting event this Sunday, and hope you'll join me.  I'm hosting the first ever "Project Prom," a cocktail party and runway show to benefit Georgia's children in need.  It's from 5 - 8 pm at The W Atlanta Midtown (188 14th St.) The event benefits teens by giving them an opportunity to experience prom -- something that could be so easily taken for granted, but is a pivitol time for them and for their self-esteem.  Slightly used dresses have been donated by Becca's Closet and have been refashioned with the help of local designers, Vincent Martinez, Jason Bunin and English Design Lab, along with Grady High School's Urban Couture Program.  The dresses will be modeled by the very students who redesigned them, along with a very special guest model, Miss Georgia, Christina McCauley.  All dresses featured in the show will be given to teen beneficiaries for their prom night!  So come on out for an evening that will be lots of fun with food, libations, music, and fashion.  Tickets are only $35 (age 21+,) and seating is extremely limited so get them now -- www.forthekidinallofusprojectprom2011.eventbrite.com/ There will be a limited number of tickets for purchase at the door.  I hope to see you there!
