Join The Atlanta Beat This Weekend and Help Recent Tornado Victims

Previous Posts

By Kaedy Kiely

A friend alerted me to a terrific thing The Atlanta Beat is doing to help raise funds for our neighbors who are victims of the recent tornadoes.  A young, 19-year-old student from the University of Alabama has organized a 501C to help people that have been affected  - not only in Tuscaloosa, but in Georgia, Mississippi and other parts of Alabama.  He has been taking truck loads of water, medical supplies, clothes, etc. to these areas over the last few weeks. Saturday, June 11th, the Atlanta Beat is donating a percentage of their ticket sales to this charity.  It'd be a great way for you to help out AND have fun this weekend!  Here are the details:

Atlanta Beat (Women's Professional Soccer) vs. Orlando MagicJack
Saturday, June 11
Game starts 7, tailgate at 5
Kennesaw State University Soccer Stadium
3200 George Busbee Parkway
Marietta, GA 30144
Ticket prices range from $15 for general admission to $100 for on-field.
For tickets, https://tickets.theatlantabeat.com/Online/default.asp
A portion of game receipts go directly to Tuscaloosa Tornado Relief efforts
Thanks Beat!
