What'd ya think of Steve Tyler on Idol last night?  I watched with my "Project Wednesday" group of friends that try to get together weekly.  A couple of them weren't too familiar with Aerosmith or Tyler, and they found him totally charming.  I have a feeling this may be like the Run DMC thing from years ago for him. Some of the fans that go WAY back will find themselves wondering what the heck he's doing, but way many more people will become new fans.  It may turn out to be an incredibly savy move for him.  I hope so.  Any member of a hugely successful band that can stick together with the same 4 dudes for 40 years deserves very good things!  I thought the show was great.  It focused more on the talented kids with enough of the losers. There's another episode on again tonight in case you missed Steven's debut -- Fox 5 at 8.
