It was such a fun weekend giving away the Dodge Challenger because I met so many folks who love The River and had been listening to me play music for years.  It is such a unique honor for me to be a part of a LOT of people's lives for so long.  It's as though we shared such crazy innocence, and now we've grown up together -- our kids are growing up, we're redefining our careers based on a recession that's blowing our socks off, we're surviving cancer, and have aches and pains that belie the age we feel we are.  Ah, but the music.   We share memories of Skynyrd Saving The Fox, The Stones at The Fox, Pink Floyd at Grant Field, Champagne Jams at the stadium, The Allman Brothers at Piedmont Park -- too many to name.  We share memories of Atlanta from when it used to be a big town, not a big city  -- Atlanta's grown with us, and not always for the better.  But we still love the way our music makes us feel.  And I've always loved playing our favorite music for you.  That's why it's such a joy to meet you in person!  Thank you!
