I'll be telling you more about the Atlanta 2 Day Walk for Breast Cancer in tomorrow's blog, but there are a couple other events for causes close to my heart that you can partake in this weekend: 

My friend Kitsy is excited to have been asked to be on the Board of Directors for The Atlanta Humane Society.  I'm proud of her, and her first formal event is "The Humane Event" this Friday night.  It's at WETBAR at the W Atlanta downtown, and the proceeds benefit the medical and emotional care of dogs rescued from fighting rings. Listener Amey James is doing the 3-Day walk for Breast Cancer later this month, and she's raising money for it this Saturday night at 9 at Moonshadow Tavern in Tucker.  Her team, Rita's Breast Friends, will be there with team shirts and hats for sale, and they'll have a raffle going on throughout the night with music from Rockaholics, and great prizes like tickets for comedian Ron White at The Fox and a firepit from Ace Hardware.  Stop by for a great cause if you get a chance!
