Complimentary Tickets For High Holy Days/Why George, Why?

Previous Posts

I had a most unusual, gracious offer from Rabbi Steven Lebow of Temple Kol Emeth (1415 Old Canton Rd, Marietta, GA 30062) for tickets for the High Holy Days to give to listeners and friends however I'd like.  I know these tickets are valuable, but I would like for anyone who will use them for Yom Kippur this weekend to have them for free.  I have a very limited number of tickets, so the first few people to e-mail me at kaedy.kiely@coxradio.com will get a pair.

What a gorgeous weekend!  I spent time out at the barn, saw good, old friends of mine from the band Shyanne play out in Marietta, and saw one of the worst movies I've ever paid to see yesterday.  If you want to take a long nap, go see George Clooney in The American. I found it incredibly mindless.  There is hardly any sound in the movie -- it's so quiet the whole time you'll find yourself sucking on your popcorn so as not to wake the person next to you with any crunching sound. I even got sick of looking at my dreamboat George, who is brooding in every scene.  The beginning and ending are cool -- that being said, the movie should have been 10 minutes long.  Trust me on this one!
