Try These Guys Out!

By Kaedy Kiely

I've done a lot of endorsements before for products I believe in, but I'm doing one now that's unusual to me because I wasn't quite sure I'd believe in them until I saw them in action.  I don't want to turn my blog into a commerical, but I'll always pass along info to you that I think you'll appreciate and that can somehow make your life a little better/easier...

Because I've always had pets, and pets are, guaranteed, going to make messes, I finally chose NOT to have carpets in my home except for a very few area rugs (which my cats still seem to find whenever they decide to cat-puke) because I had such lousy experiences with carpet cleaning. Beth, one of our stellar sales people, asked me to check Zerorez out -- I told her I didn't have carpeting -- that was okay because they clean upholstery and any hard surfaces.  So I had them clean the cats' screened-in porch, and a great, big, light-colored chair and ottoman that my black cat Bono has taken over as his perch.  The results are fantastic!  The 15 year old chair is bright, the stains are all gone -- it looks new!  It dried quickly and soft, with no odor whatsoever (Zerorez uses no chemicals, onlywater that's been specially treated. They call it "super-empowered".)  I love that Zerorez is completely safe for kids and pets.  Bono was back up on his chair in no time.  I couldn't believe the Mexican tile in my porch. It had literally been years since the floor looked so good.  I had a great experience with the Zerorez technician -- he was super-professional in appearance and in his actions, and was able to answer all the tough questions I asked.  I also met one of the owners of Zerorez, Patrick, and was really impressed with his manner and knowledge about the business.  He's a young, personable guy who is passionate about his product, and whose business has grown substantially over the last two years despite the terrible economy.  That really said something to me.  But the true test was still to come...

My Mom's off-white, 15 year-old wall-to-wall carpet still looks good because she gets it cleaned regularly and she has no pets or kids in the house.  I asked her how she finds her carpet cleaner, and she said from those ads you get in the mail that advertise a cheap price for the whole house.  I asked her if she ever actually pays that price and she said, "Heaven's no!  It always ends up being 2 to 3 times what they say."  When I asked her why, she said because there would be certain areas with tougher stains to get out.  So Soni from Zerorez came out to clean her carpeting and a old, never-cleaned but always-used love seat.  I popped by to see how things were going.  Mom was as happy as she could be!  She and Soni were already BFFs.  We were able to walk on the carpet as soon as he was done cleaning it.  Mom and I did it bare-footed so we could feel that there was no residue on our feet when they were drying (hence their name -- Zero-rez.)  Soni had told my mom he might not be able to get the darkened areas near the heating vents clean because it was years of carbon build-up, but he made those spots almost disappear -- something the other guys had never done!  Zerorez doesn't charge extra for tough stains.  When they say they'll clean your carpet, they clean your carpet - stains and all.  They do charge extra for cleaning and deodorizing where your pet may have had an accident, because they have to use different products to deal with that.  But they do the pet stuff so well that I almost feel like I'd like to get carpet back in my house because I'd know who could get it cleaned.  My friend Mark, who has a dog and 10-year-old carpet that the dog had used before, RAVED about the job Zerorez did in his home.  He said it was well worth paying a bit more -- his carpet looked brand-new!   Mark said he was really impressed with his technician's professionalism -- the guy even got out a red wine stain.

You can now see why I have a hard time telling you all I want to about Zerorez in a :60 commercial.  I think they're a great company. In this day and age, you'd think you'd find customer service improving as companies should want to keep your business -- I usually find the exact opposite is true.  I really appreciate the respect the folks from Zerorez have for their customers, and want to encourage you to check them out if you need your carpeting, upholstery, or any hard surface in your house or office cleaned.  They've got a deal now for my listeners, 3 rooms cleaned for $129, and an extra room cleaned free if you call when you hear the commercial (or just call them and tell you read about them in my blog if you want -- I'm sure they'll honor the extra room for free.)  Call them before the busy holiday season -- 770-242-1313, www.zerorezatlanta.com.
