Sunny, Cool, and PINK!

By Kaedy Kiely

What an amazing day yesterday at The World of Coke for the finish line and Closing Ceremonies for the 2 Day Walk For Breast Cancer!  Thank you to everyone who walked, including The River's own team, Save 2nd Base -- the wonderful folks from It's the Journey, who work tirelessly all year to raise money that stays in Georgia to support so many amazing breast cancer organizations -- and to the folks that donated.  Feel good knowing that your hard-earned money is going to a terrific cause!  You can donate anytime to www.itsthejourney.org.

I am honored (and my mom is thrilled) to have my cancer journey featured in one of my favorite magazine's, Best Self Atlanta, for their October Women's Health Special Issue!  Best Self is a FREE publication, full of valuable articles about health and wellness.  To find where you can pick up your copy, go to their website and enter your zip code for a list of the merchants that carry it. Here's a direct link to the article online:  http://www.bestselfatlanta.com/best-self-articles/life-enrichment/the-heart-of-rock-roll.html  Many thanks to the lovely folks who made the interview and photo session such a terrific experience for me -- Sherri Adair, Amy Meadows, Richie Arpino, Lesley Hines, India Powell, Patti Stevens, and Jill Bernhardt -- love you all!
