If you've got a chance this week to check out Avenue Q at The Cobb Energy Centre, then do it!  It's a hilariously clever show that will melt the tension of your day away and, Lord knows, we can all use that.  I saw Q at The Fox a couple of years ago and it hasn't lost any of it's lustre -- it is rated "R," though -- one scene could even be "X" if it were using real people instead of big hand puppets -- F-U-N-N-Y!  The skills of the puppeteers, who not only mirror their puppets' acting but who are also terrific singers, are amazing to watch. The songs are a hoot, too -- you might even find yourself humming "It Sucks to Be Me" on your way home.  I loved seeing the show at The Cobb Energy Centre.  It's only the second time I've been there, and it is a beautiful, intimate-for-its-size, venue.  Avenue Q is only playing through Sunday, so get your tickets now -- they start at just $15!  Go to www.ticketmaster.com for more.
