Tonight is the Relay For Life in White County, and I'm excited to find out whose name is drawn for the "Little Kaedy Kiely" Cabbage Patch Kid.  If you donated for the cause, thank you so much!  Your generosity has helped "Little Kaedy's" team raise $1,000 above our goal for The American Cancer Society!! Good luck to all the participants tonight.

A long-time listener, Carole G., reminded me that there is a wonderful service for women undergoing cancer treatments.  I was recently catching up on a friend's blog about her battle with cancer where she continuously thanked her mom who was cooking and cleaning for her when my friend could not possibly do it herself.  But what if someone doesn't have a loved one, or can't afford to hire someone, to do this for her?  There's an organization called Cleaning For a Reason that provides FREE housecleaning once a month for 4 months for women undergoing treatment for any type of cancer.  Check out their website at www.cleaningforareason.org to see if you qualify and if this is available in your area. I'm sure this service is a Godsend to many women.
