Hey, a couple of good things going on this weekend.  Tomorrow morning it's the kick off for our friends with the Atlanta 2-Day Walk for Breast Cancer.  Head on over to Maggiano's, 3368 Peachtree Rd. in Buckhead, for the official opener of the registration for the big walk in October.  The weather will be great tomorrow for all the festivities starting at 8am (Falcons Cheerleaders and a fun, inspiring, warm-up exercise with a Hip-Hop aerobic dance group) before a 3 mile training walk through the streets of Atlanta that starts at 9:30.  If you register for the October 2-Day Walk at Maggiano's tomorrow morning you'll save $25 off your walker and crew registration fees. 

Tomorrow night, it's my 'ol buddies Shyanne opening for .38 Special at Wild Bill's in Duluth.  It's bound to be a fun, rockin' night!  Check the "Event Best Bets" here on our website to get ticket info.

The Atlanta 2-Day Walk for Breast Cancer - Atlanta's premier breast cancer fundraising event that has granted more than $6.6 million since 2003 to 127 Atlanta-area organizations for breast cancer support, research, financial assistance and awareness programs.

What:             Kick-off of the 2010 Atlanta 2-Day Walk for Breast Cancer, generating excitement and support in the Atlanta community for the upcoming walk.  Entertainment and activities will celebrate the official opening of walker registration for the 2010 2-Day Walk, followed by a 3-mile training walk through the streets of downtown Atlanta at 9:30 a.m.

                        The Atlanta Falcons cheerleaders will be on-hand to get this year's walkers excited and to lead them on the 3-mile training walk.  Atlanta's best Hip-Hop aerobic dance group, Ike from Ikemacs, will also host an inspiring warm-up exercise for the walkers.

                        Those who register at the Kick-off will receive $25 off walker and crew registration fees.
