Well, my ultrasound with my surgeon Dr. Richardson turned into a biopsy (with a couple of stitches to boot!)  We're just making sure some swelling is due to continued after-effects of my radiation, and not something more -- no "let's wait and see" with my docs, thank goodness!  They seem to think the results will be fine so, of course, I'm trying not to dwell on it while I wait 3 - 5 business days for the results.  I'm really reminded about the people that fight so hard to get past their treatments, but find out their cancer has come back or that their treatments haven't been successful.  It's so hard to imagine how these warriors deal, and I pray I don't have to!  I happen to have a few vacation days coming up through Monday, so I don't want you to worry if you don't hear from me till I come back Tuesday, but I'll be sure to update you!
