The Grammys are Sunday night (CBS 8pm,) and there are a few things we rockers can look forward to.  Elton John will be performing -- so will one of my favorite guitarists, Jeff Beck in a tribute to the late Les Paul.  (Btw, Jeff Beck's on the bill with Eric Clapton in NYC at Madison Square Garden Valentine's week!  Be listening to win your trip and tickets to see them all next week in our I LOVE CLAPTON contest.)  Viewers get to pick the song Bon Jovi will play live -- you can vote for one of three songs up to their performance time at www.cbs.com/grammys -- I pick "Livin' On A Prayer."  Alice Cooper will be presenting, and Slash will be performing -- unfortunately, it's with egomaniac Jamie Foxx.  All this reminds me of how I used to be glued to the tube for The Grammys.  I don't know if it's my age or what, but I find myself getting caught up on bills, reading the paper, painting my nails, etc. while watching now.  I sound like a Grammy Granny, but there's just not enough rock 'n roll for me!

I'm excited and nervous about giving a speech tonight at a benefit for The American Cancer Society.  They've been kind to honor me as their Survivor this year at their Evening of Hope Gala at The Metropolitan Club in Alpharetta.  All my cancer doctors will be there, so it'll be a nice opportunity for me to thank them.  I'm thrilled that the famed Atlanta broadcaster Scott Slade, from our "sister station" WSB Radio, is the emcee for the evening.  There's a great band, terrific food, and wonderful auction items tonight -- all to benefit The American Cancer Society. If you're interested in attending, call Adrienne at 770-814-0123.
