Santa Clark

By Kaedy Kiely

What a wonderful experience I had with "Clark's Christmas Kids!"  It was so heartwarming to see people come out to Walmart, choose a child's profile with wish list, and shop for that specific child they didn't know.  Single people, couples, and families came in droves to make sure Georgia's kids in foster care will celebrate Christmas, too.  You could tell it was a special learning experience for children who came in with their parents -- they took their jobs of picking out a child to give to very seriously.  And the toys?  You wouldn't believe the bags and bags of brand new toys donated!  You don't have to miss out -- the giving continues this weekend.  Clark will be broadcasting live again today from the Walmart on Windward Pkwy in Alpharetta, and tomorrow in East Cobb on Johnson Ferry in Roswell.  Check his website for more details, www.clarkhoward.com.  I was tickled to broadcast live with Clark for an hour yesterday -- what a treat to see a talk radio master at work!  And he's as lovely in person as he is on the air.  I love that he claims not to know anything about music, but had "Fat Bottomed Girls" on his iPhone!
