Lennon, Camaro, and Arabian Horses This Weekend!

By Kaedy Kiely

Reece and I are heading to the Westin Buckhead on Peachtree this afternoon for the opening of "So This Is Christmas," featuring John Lennon's artwork.  I attended this exhibition about 25 years ago and couldn't leave without purchasing a piece.  Mine is called "Peace Brother," and I treasure it.  Don't miss this opportunity to see this wonderful display -- there is no admission price, but they are asking that you make a donation for The Atlanta Children's Shelter at the door.  The exhibit runs through Sunday.

We're finally giving away the Camaro that 400 listeners qualified to win over the last several months.  Join Kate McCarthy, Reece and I as we celebrate with the qualifiers and winner Saturday from noon - 2p at Paddy's Pub & Eatery, 2196 Cobb Pkwy in Kennesaw.  Paddy's has got great food and good peeps, so you'll have a good time even if you're just watching!

If you're looking for a special holiday family event this weekend, you need to take a short trip up I75 North to Dalton and Paradise Arabians Farms for their Winter Wonderland celebration.  They'll have a choir, carriage rides, photos with Santa, and the most gorgeous Arabian horses!  See this wonderful place!  Go to www.paradisearabians.com  for directions and more info.

Have a great weekend, whatever you do!  GO FALCONS!
