Three of the best shows on TV (in my humble opinion) are ending their runs this season.  First, tonight (Wed.), it's the season finale for "Ugly Betty."  This show has been fun, sweet, extraordinarily stylish, and has given us some of the most colorful characters ever!   Vanessa Williams is the Queen Bee-yatch!!  I'm really going to miss Betty, and am disappointed in how it's being unceremoniously dumped.  Boo-hiss to ABC.

24 is one of my favorites EVER!  Kiefer/Jack Bauer rules!  The idea of having a season of a show run in real time over a 24 hour period was really cool.  The great thing about 24 is that they have the guts to do the unexpected -- he's not going to chop off his friend's hand to get him out of those handcuffs, is he?  OMG!!  24 has killed off major characters we grew to love/hate, and gives terrorists what we wish we could give 'em!  I will miss this show the most, but am excited about the idea of the stars doing a full length feature.

Finally, LOST.  What'll we do without all that intrigue Tuesday nights?  LOST had one of the best pilots I've ever seen -- it sucked you in like a plane's engine!  Another show with such rich characters.  The wrap-up is getting really good, and I hope the writers leave us satisfied since they've know for 2 years or more when the end would be.

On an up note, my favorite new show is Glee and, after several months on hiatus, it's back on Fox for several more shows before the first season ends.  This is another show that had an amazing pilot -- as funny and bittersweet as it could be.  This show is destined to be a classic -- don't miss it!
