Feeling MUCH better today, but I had a rough one yesterday.  I hadn't been noticing much more fatigue than usual with the radiation, but I hit a wall BIG TIME all day yesterday.  I was in a west-coast zip code!  My radiation in the morning took quite a bit longer than usual because they had to re-take my film (they take film once a week on Monday to make sure everything is going as it should.)  Apparently, I had enough swelling to make them have to remeasure a bit.  My skin is quite burned but, again, I'm so close to the end of this treatment (tomorrow) that I hardly care.  I'm noticing that my skin absorbs the aloe and Aquafor almost as soon as I apply it now. 

Yesterday was the day I was having TWO treatments so I figured I could take a nap to feel better, but when I got home I realized my brand new $4,000 air conditioner wasn't blowing as cold as it should be.  Called the a/c guy who informed me that, since my power went out for several hours Monday and my new sump pump couldn't pump, the water got high enough to damage or ruin almost all my appliances in the basement -- my new a/c, new heater, hot water heater, washer/dryer are all effected -- Whoopee!!

So no nap and back to Piedmont for my second zap in the afternoon.  While I was there, a woman came out of  radiation room having just finished her last treatment.  We all applauded her!  I can't wait...
