I had a good week off.  I got caught up on sleep and socialized with folks I hadn't been able to see for a while.

I'm getting close to the end of my radiation -- WOO!  The HOO will come when I'm done!  My underarm is getting so burned that, last week, they decided to use the "boost" to give my armpit a rest.  The same amount of radiation is focused on the spot where the tumor was removed (instead of zapping the whole breast.)  I lie on my side for it instead of on my back, and it literally takes about 15 seconds!  Pretty cool!  Was back to my normal routine yesterday, though.

I'm a little freaked out about my eyelashes.  I gave them some rest from mascara while I was off and, while putting mascara on this a.m., it's obvious I'm STILL losing them!  Seriously, I've got about 10 lashes on each eye now and I look like the Maggie Simpson cartoon minus her cute hair.  Gotta ask my Rad Doc about it this morning...
