What a fun and busy weekend!  I've been laying so low the past 6 months that I'm not used to anywhere near as much excitement as I had all weekend.  The River team and I hooked up with lots of great folks in Roswell Friday afternoon at Publix with the GA Lottery and The Falcons.  (Tough loss for us Sunday with The Falcons -- almost as bad as the loss was seeing Keith Brooking playing for the opposition!)

Saturday, we were in East Cobb giving away a 2010 Buick LaCrosse (BEAUTIFUL car!)  Get this -- we had nearly  20 people qualified to win the car.  We drew names for the order that qualifiers would choose a CD to put in the car's CD player to play.  One CD would say, "Congratulations -- you have won the 2010 Buick LaCrosse!"  It got down to 2 people and a guy put his CD in and he wasn't the winner.  The winner was THE LAST person whose name was drawn!!  (Yes, we checked her CD to be sure.)  Crazy, and exciting to be part of.  She and her family were thrilled!  She's a young mom with 2 children, and now she's a young mom with 2 children and a super hot ride!

Yesterday, we spent the gorgeous afternoon at Chastain Horse Park for their annual Dog Show and Howl-o-ween Costume Contest.  What fun to see all the families that came out with their pets to support such a special place -- the Chastain Horse Park provides therapeutic riding lessons for disabled children and, most recently, for injured veterans with their "Horses For Heroes" program.  Dogs were dressed as a scary spider, a banana, angels, devils, a dragon, princesses, a cowboy and indian, and lots more.  You'll have to check out the pics here on our website when they're posted -- just hilarious!  There were canine ribbons for Best Kiss, Best Wag, Best Costume, and lots more.  The afternoon was capped off with a parade of the horses in costume in the main riding ring.  It was a wonderful day, and thanks to everyone who came out to join us!  If you missed it this year, plan to join us again next year -- you'll love it!
