I love the chill in the air!  Just perfect for our Rock 'n Rib Fest from 1 - 9 pm tomorrow in Lawrenceville.  I hope to see you out there.  It was a blast last year, and should be even better tomorrow -- great local classic hits bands (including a Tom Petty tribute band,) and delicious ribs with all the trimmings.  Bundle up though, highs are only going to be around 55.

Sunday I'm heading to downtown Athens and The Morton Theatre for the Dixie Film Festival and a showing of my good friend B98.5's Jordan Graye's film "Megahertz."  This film has been a true labor of love for Jordan -- I'm so proud of her!  She wrote, directed, and stars in this wonderful piece:

MEGAHERTZ is a high frequency love story about an emotionally frazzled radio DJ named Brigh (Bree) Montgomery who finds herself stuck in another dimension with the brilliant, eccentric inventor Nikola Tesla. Not knowing why they were paired up, this odd couple begins to find interesting points of intersection as they help each other put unfinished business to rest. Tesla confronts the likes of Thomas Edison, Guglielmo Marconi, and JP Morgan; while Brigh faces the first unrequited love of her life. They're helped along by the archangel Gabriel who offers a gentle hand for these two as they wrestle their demons and heal mega hurts. Higher ground awaits...for one.

The 2pm showing is open to the public, and tickets are $10 available at the theater.  It would be great to see you there to support my good buddy.  My River afternoon drive cohort, Kate McCarthy will be there too!
