Wow!  I was running a little early for work this morning and it didn't take me long to realize why.  As I was putting the key in the lock to leave, a blast of cool air hit my short-haired head!  I had forgotten Bridgette II, the wig!  I 'd say that's a pretty good sign of life getting back to normal.  My hair is about a half-inch long -- a color I've never seen on my head either!  Another week or two and I'm going to have my hair guy, Richard (see archive blog "Bridgette's Big Adventure,") dye it platinum blonde.

My cat Lenny (named for the very hot Mr. Kravitz) is quite the goomer.  He tries to groom my other cat, Bono (obviously named,) but Bono won't have it.  The other night Lenny was perched on his favorite spot at the top of the sofa behind me when he suddenly started grooming my head!  I was going to stop him, but it felt kinda good!!   I guess my hair's the perfect length of a domestic short-hair cat.  I was laughingly telling my ex about it, and he said "watch it, you're sounding like one of those old cat ladies!"  Not a good sign when your ex-boyfriend refers to you as an old cat lady...
