Funny!  I was just reading a "news" story this morning about one of the latest fashion trends, the no eyebrow look.  Women are plucking, shaving, waxing, and bleaching their eyebrows to give them the chemo look.  Check out Kim Kardashian  (but her brows look photoshopped.)  Since I last wrote about my thinning brows and lashes, I've lost a lot more but I've still got plenty to work with and it's still been simple to deal with with make-up.

I have my last appointment for a while with my oncologist, Dr. Jonas, this morning to have my white blood cell count taken.  My fingers are crossed that the report is good so I can travel to Boston next week for my official No Mo Chemo celebration with family, friends, and McCartney at Fenway!!  This whole experience of moving from one doc to the next is interesting.  I will be spending the next few months with my radiologist.  I'll have check-ups with my surgeon, oncologist, and radiologist for some time to come, and I couldn't be more happy with the doctors I have.  When I was first diagnosed, I couldn't imagine getting through the litany of appointments and treatments, but now I find myself through the worst of it and seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.  I can't help but think of people like my friend Susan who learn that their cancer has returned after going through these procedures, and of how devastating that must be. I remain positive that I am now cancer-free forever, though!!
