I'm finally feeling much better!!  Tomorrow I get my wig, Bridgette, checked.  It's been misbehaving -- slipping around and getting tangled underneath in the back -- too high maintenance!   Since I'll be doing more appearances for The River now that I'm through chemo, I need to get the hair under control.  I am excited my own hair will start growing back soon. I was never one for changing it up too much and I haven't had short hair since I was a kid, so I intend to love it and try some different things with it as it's coming back.

I met three of my best girlfriends for dinner last night.  We all worked together at 96Rock back in the day so, if you've lived in Atlanta for a while, you know we have good stories to tell!  We ate at one of my favorite new places, Varasano's on Peachtree across from Colonial Homes Dr., a bit north of Piedmont Hospital.  It's a pizzeria on the bottom level of a new apartment highrise, but it's not your typical pizza place.  Delicious, crisp, thin crust pies (my favorite is the caramelized onion pizza and I add the sausage with fennel,)  beautiful, fresh salads, a great atmosphere, and terrific service make it a place I keep bringing my friends to.  PLUS they have Gruppo, one of my favorite bartenders from the old Aunt Charley's, and Mike & Angelo's in Buckhead.  It all made for a perfect visit last night!
