Musicians Endorsing Candidates

By Lexie Kaye

The "Rocket Man" Elton John has pledged his support to the presidential candidate Hilary Clinton by donating cash from a gig to her campaign. The star will perform at a concert, entitled 'Elton and Hillary: One Night Only,' at the RadioCityMusic Hall in New York on April 9, 2008.

Even Steven Van Zandt who is a member of Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band and also plays Sivio Dante in the TV drama Sopranos shunned presidential candidate Hillary Clinton by refusing to take part in her video spoof of The Sopranos - because he prefers Barack Obama.

So it's Sir Elton for Clinton, Van Zandt for Obama...So what I'd like to know is if rock-star endorsements of candidates influence how you will vote at the polls this year?
