The Rock Hall: Dusting 'Em Off

By Rachel Logan

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum in Cleveland, OH has gone through its archives to create a new display. Treasures From the Vault features the eight-string bass played by Led Zeppelin's John Paul Jones; Greg Lake's acoustic guitar; James Taylor's first guitar; the suit worn by Elton John when he was inducted into the Hall; and handwritten lyrics from A-C/D-C, Donovan and Billy Joel. Also included are artifacts from Bruce Springsteen, Rod Stewart, Bee Gees, Aretha Franklin, Sting, Alice Cooper and The Clash. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has more than 25-thousand artifacts, but only about four-thousand are on display at any given time.
